Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) -- The Central Election Guidance Committee for elections of deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies of the DPRK on Monday released a report on the result of the election.
According to the report, the elections of deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies of the DPRK were successfully held on Sunday in conformity with the Law on the Elections of Deputies to the People's Assemblies at All Levels.
According to the election result, 99.98 percent of all electors in voters' lists took part in the elections and voted for the candidates for deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies registered in the relevant constituencies.
Those on foreign tour or working in oceans were unable to take part in the elections.
Through the elections, 27 876 workers, farmers, intellectuals and officials were elected deputies to provincial (municipal), city (district) and county people's assemblies. -0-
