 The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP)today issued the following joint statement on the successful DPRK-Russia summit ;
  On the 25th of April a summit between Supreme leader respected Marshal KIM JONG UN , Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK , and President Vladimir Vladimirovich
Putin , President of the Russian Federation , was held in the far eastern Russian city of Vladivostok.
   This is the third overseas visit of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN this year and the 8th meeting that respected Marshal KIM JONG UN has had with a foreign head of state demonstrating the fast and dynamic pace of the DPRK's diplomacy  under the leadership of respected Marshal KIM JONG UN . It also shatters the nonsense that the DPRK is "isolated " , indeed nothing could be further from the truth .The international prestige of the DPRK is rising day by day and is unstoppable .
   The DPRK-Russia summit is a victory for the Juche-based diplomacy of the DPRK . The traditional ties of friendship between the DPRK and the neighbouring country of the Russian Federation . These ties date back to when the Russian Federation was the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and were forged by the great leader President KIM IL SUNG and the late Marshal J V Stalin .Chairman
KIM JONG IL  established friendly relations with the Russian Federation , the successor state to the USSR and met Presidents Putin and Mevedev several times .Now the relationship between the DPRK and Russian Federation is being developed on the basis of independence and carried to a new higher
level.
  We congratulate respected Marshal KIM JONG UN on the successful DPRK- Russia summit and believe that it will make a significant contribution to the cause of global independence.
