Single-hearted unity seen through visit to the DPRK-special article by Dr Dermot Hudson

                                                           

 During my 16th visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, I became even more convinced of the fact that the DPRK is based on single-hearted unity  which is stronger that the atomic bomb. During my meeting with comrades from the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front of south Korea  I discussed the differing situations in Venezuela and the DPRK . The US imperialists are going all out to crush the socialist regime of Maduro and put their own puppet leader in control. The US has threatened military intervention against Venezuela as well as imposing sanctions which are wrecking the Venezuelan economy. The US and other Western countries has recognised the upstart ,  Guaido and are trying to use the fake president as a battering ram to destroy Venezuela . However the US is begging the DPRK for dialogue and talks. Thus there is a big difference between the situation of the DPRK and the situation of Venezuela , a very big difference. I pointed to my hosts that this is because the DPRK following the Songun policy had developed nukes and ICBMs compelling the US to enter into negotiations with the DPRK .However it was pointed out that it was not just nuclear deterrence but single hearted unity . Koreans say that single hearted unity is stronger than an atomic bomb !
                             
  Throughout my visit I witnessed the single hearted unity of the Korea people around the great leaders and their successor dear respected Marshal KIM JONG UN.
     On Friday the 15th  I went with my guides to offer a floral basket to the statues of the great leaders comrades KIM IL SUNG and KIM JONG IL . Here I saw Korean service people and workers lining up to pay respects to the great leaders . This was purely voluntary , no one was forced to do . In People's Korea everyone is united around the leader and the Party , everyone supports respected

      At the Kimjongilia exhibition I could see the immense effort and skill that had gone into preparing the exhibition stands . Some of them like the one from the Ministry of Railways and the Construction Bureau had wonderful and exquisite models . You could tell that people took a real pride in preparing exhibition stands.
    On the day I was flying back to Beijing and then London . It snowed very heavily during the early hours of the morning . The swirling snow was limiting vision, Soon the roads have turned white . I wondered whether I would make it to the airport and if indeed the airport would be open . However my fears were proved to be unfounded because dozens if not hundreds of workers in red high vis tunics turned out and were clearing the snow away with giant shovels and brooms . DPRK society is run on the noble principle of 'One for all and All for One  !" , so everyone does his bit for society and pulls his or her weight . Young volunteer for difficult construction projects . Moreover the DPRK is an egalitarian society , everyone has a stake in society , there is no alienated underclass or lumpen proletariat. Society in Juche Korea is truly an integral , harmonious whole .
   Thus the DPRK is not Venezulea , nor is like former revisionist led socialist countries nor is it Libya and Iraq . It is a genuine socialist country based on single -hearted and also based on the
Juche Idea .The US imperialists may well want to instigate a colour revolution like they have in
many lands , they sponsor NGOs to do their dirty work but they will get nowhere. The DPRK is steel like fortress of unity around respected Marshal KIM JONG UN.
