U.S. Forces in S. Korea Branded Chieftain of Aggression, Division, Misfortune and Pain: Information Bureau of AINDF

Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- The Information Bureau of the Central Committee of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF) issued an indictment Friday denouncing the U.S. forces in south Korea, chieftain of aggression and division, and root cause of misfortune and pain, in connection with the lapse of 73 years since the U.S. forces' presence in south Korea.

The indictment said that September 8, 1945 was the day that signaled the start of the humiliation and distress under which the Korean nation's enthusiasm for independence was quenched and it was subjugated by the U.S. aggressors.

The period since then has been characterized by the continuation of crimes against humanity by which the U.S. inflicted the pain of division and the danger of war with blood-stained jackboots and deprived the Koreans of their dignity, right to independence and elementary democratic right and right to existence century after century, the indictment said, and went on:

The scope and ferocity of the crimes committed by the U.S. forces in south Korea were unprecedented ones beyond imagination.

The barbaric nature of the U.S. forces, the group of murderers subsisting on aggression, war, robbery and massacre has been clearly revealed.

The June 25 war of aggression by the U.S. was the most barbarous war unprecedented in human history.

All the aggressors and occupation forces are cruel but no one was as barbarous as the U.S. forces who felt pleasure in shooting, stabbing and setting fire while regarding innocent people as the target of their bizarre-seeking ambition.

The system of subjugation, fascism, division and war that has taken its root deep into this land as a malignant tumor is the direct and inevitable result of the U.S. forces' presence in south Korea and domination policy.

As long as the U.S. forces are present in south Korea, the misfortune, pain and disaster of the Korean nation can never be gotten rid of and the national reunification, the cherished desire of the nation, can never be realized.

The withdrawal of the U.S. forces, the end of the U.S. military presence and domination is the demand of the Korean nation and the irresistible trend of the times.

The indictment stressed that struggle is the only way out of subjugation by the U.S., and a shortcut, and anti-U.S. struggle is the supreme independence, patriotism, reunification and prosperity. -0-
