ASSPUK,JISGE, UK KFA and BSCPRKP support White Paper of the DPRK KAPPC on the nuclearisation of Japan

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) , the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification on the Korean Peninsula (BSCPRKP) issued a joint statement supporting the White paper of the Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee (KAPPC) of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)  on  the extension of U.S.-Japan atomic energy agreement;
   The DPRK Korea Asia-Pacific Peace Committee(KAPPC) , an organisation which rigorously defends peace and campaigns for peace in the Asia-Pacific region , has issued a White paper drawing due attention to the dangerous and criminal nature of the U.S.-Japan atomic energy agreement which has been recently extended . It is a very positive thing the KAPPC have issued this White paper as not too many people know about the U.S.-Japan atomic energy agreement and its nature nor are fully aware of the danger of Japanese militarism and the US connivance with it.
   U.S.-Japan atomic energy agreement was concluded in 1988 and expired on the 16th of July . However the US extended the agreement  !. Through the agreement Japan aims to realise its nefarious ambition to become a nuclear power .Japan which had conducted nuclear researches from early in the 1930s began to earnestly push forward the A-bomb development upon entering the 1940s under the direct governance by the military just until its defeat.
 In 1956 Japan adopted the policy on the re-processing of spent nuclear fuel for the potential possession of nuclear capabilities and began to produce plutonium from 1977. In the 1980s they even manufactured fast breeder reactor called Monju for the mass-procurement of plutonium.
  Basically the U.S.-Japan atomic energy agreement gives the right of Japan to process plutonium which can be used to make nuclear bombs . Japan is the only country outside of the UN Security
Council permanent members that is allowed to reprocess plutonium. Japan now has a stockpile of
47 tons of plutonium.
   The US through its agreement with Japan and the extension of it  is conniving at Japan's ambition and desire to become a nuclear weapons state .Moreover the US is helping the Japanese reactionaries realise their dream to be a nuclear weapons state . This is a very grave threat to peace in the Asia-Pacific region and the world . Japanese imperialism dreams of reviving the old Japanese empire  the so-called "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity sphere".
   The stance of the US betrays extreme double standards . On the one hand they are assisting the
Japanese  to become a nuclear weapon's state but at the same time they opposed the DPRK's development of a nuclear deterrent and made demands for the unilateral disarmament of
People's Korea.
  Our organisations support and applaud the White paper of the DPRK KAPPC and believe it should be given wide publicity . We denounce the moves of the Japanese and US reactionaries to turn
Japan into a nuclear power !
