Resolute Fight against Arbitrary Practices of Imperialists Called For

Pyongyang, May 26 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Saturday says in an article that the revolution can neither advance nor the country's sovereignty and the nation's dignity be safeguarded without an uncompromising struggle against the imperialists.
The imperialists are becoming ever more high-handed and arbitrary on the international arena, the article says, and goes on:
The interference and war of aggression perpetrated by the imperialists in different parts of the world are putting the world into chaos. Independent development is hindered in various countries and their people are subject to great misfortune and pain. The world and its people can never rest in peace unless the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists are checked.
This being a hard reality, not a few countries are remaining tongue-tied about the high-handed and arbitrary practices of the imperialists, far from resolutely fighting against them.
Some countries are behaving feeble-minded, choosing the road of compromise and concession.
The imperialists become servile before the strong and outrageous before the weak.
Making a concession to the imperialists and compromising with them is little short of inviting one's own death.
The aggressive nature of the imperialists will never change. It's the mode of existence of the imperialists to make it their regular job to invade and plunder other countries and nations until they meet an end. If there be any change in the imperialists, it is only the method of aggression, not their nature.
Expecting any "benefit" from the imperialists, especially the U.S. while approaching them with illusions is an act of making concession in revolutionary principle and a servile act of stepping back from the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle.
The concession and retreat in the struggle against the class enemies including the imperialists mean death.
History teaches a bitter lesson that one should only resolutely fight against the imperialists, not harboring the slightest illusion about them. -0
