Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet supreme court gave
nine persons including the chairman of a regional committee of the
former Unified Progressive Party (UPP) the verdict of guilty, according
to the south Korean MBC on July 2.
It imposed prison terms upon Ri Jun Il, chairman of the Jungrang
District Committee of the former UPP, for the reason that he organized
an "organization benefiting the enemy" and praised the DPRK.
On the same day, eight others related to the UPP case was sentenced to prison terms. -
