U.S. Imperialists and Their Stooges Escalate Nuclear Threat and Blackmail against DPRK

Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- The U.S. imperialists and their stooges are escalating their nuclear threat and blackmail against the DPRK.
    After letting a formation of B-1B nuclear strategic bombers take off from the Anderson air force base on Guam on Mar. 15, the U.S. imperialists made the bombers stealthily fly over the Sangdong firing range of south Korea to stage the drill of dropping nuclear bombs aimed at making preemptive strikes at major targets of the DPRK for about an hour.
    Timed to coincide with this, the U.S. imperialists let the task force of Carl Vinson, nuclear-powered super-large carrier, keen on a drill for blitzkrieg strike on the DPRK in the East Sea of Korea, enter Pusan Port and opened it to media.
    From some days ago, they deployed Aegis destroyers of the U.S. imperialist forces for aggression, the Japan "Self-Defense Forces" and the south Korean puppet forces in the East Sea of Korea under the pretext of coping with the "provocation" of the DPRK and are openly staging the drill of "intercepting the north's missiles" as a separate item of the Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises.
    This proves clearly that the enemies' reckless military act to make a preemptive nuclear attack upon the DPRK has reached a very dangerous phase
    The U.S. imperialists and their stooges should clearly bear in mind that nuclear treasured sword of the DPRK keeping highly alert will more mercilessly deal anytime a sledge-hammer blow to the enemies resorting to desperate moves for igniting a nuclear war despite our repeated warnings.
