U.S. Conservative Forces Denounced for Trying to Re-list DPRK as "Sponsor of Terrorism"

Pyongyang, November 12 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK Thursday gave the following answer to the question raised by KCNA as regards the fact that the U.S. conservative politicians are raising the issue of re-listing the DPRK as "sponsor of terrorism":
    Shortly ago, the chairman of the subcommittee on anti-terrorism, nuclear non-proliferation and trade of the U.S. House International Relations Committee cried out for re-listing the DPRK as a "sponsor of terrorism," taking issue with its nuclear deterrent for self-defence.
    A string of such sheer sophism is often heard from among conservatives in the U.S. Congress.
    In 2008 the then U.S. Administration of republicans de-listed the DPRK as a "sponsor of terrorism." It was not the benevolence shown by Washington for the DPRK but a thing done, prompted by its standard and interests.
    Now those fools ignorant of details and essence of the issue become vocal, styling themselves politicians. The U.S. Congress looks like a market selling secondhand goods.
    The U.S. conservatives intend to brand the DPRK as a "sponsor of terrorism" though its nuclear issue is absolutely irrelevant to terrorism. Their assertions are nothing but rigmarole of those steeped in inveterate repugnancy and hostility toward the DPRK.
    The DPRK remains unperturbed even if the U.S. re-lists it as a "sponsor of terrorism."
    The DPRK will remain unchanged in its principled stand of opposing all forms of terrorism. But it will bolster up its nuclear deterrent at a speed baffling the imagination of the U.S. as long as it persistently pursues its hostile policy towards the former. -0
