Pyongyang, September 18 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea Friday issued a statement denouncing ruling and opposition politicians and conservative group of south Korea for their moves to railroad the "bill on human rights in the north" through the "National Assembly."
These moves are a politically-motivated provocation totally denying the dignity and social system of the DPRK and a blatant challenge to the desire and aspiration of all Koreans for national concord and reunification, the statement said, and went on:
The "bill on human rights in the north" is an evil one swimming against the national aspiration and the trend of the times and height of illegality as it is disregarding elementary requirement and principle for enacting a law.
The south Korean "National Assembly's" unreasonable handling of the "issue of human rights in the north" is a wanton violation of the sovereignty and internal affairs of the DPRK. It is a serious violation of the principle of respect for other's sovereignty recognized by international law.
The above-said moves of the south Korean philistines are nothing but desperate efforts of those taken aback by the might of the DPRK where the national dignity and might are demonstrated at the highest level and its people fully enjoy happiness under the wise leadership of the peerlessly great man.
The south Korean politicians would be well advised to mind their own business in south Korea, the worst tundra of human rights in the world, before talking nonsense.
Hangers-on in Youido including politicians of the ruling and opposition parties of south Korea should not go busy squandering money collected from people as taxes, instead of fulfilling their commitments, but institute a proper law guaranteeing the south Koreans suffering from dire destitution the right to existence even a bit.
All the service personnel and people of the DPRK will never allow any provocative moves of the hostile forces to cook up the anti-DPRK confrontational law but decisively foil them without mercy. -0-
