The
Joint Action Headquarters for Increasing Public Pension in south Korea
made up of more than 50 government employees and teachers organizations
held a large-scale rally in Seoul on March 28 to denounce the puppet
forces for working hard to retrogressively revise pension for government
employees.
Attending it were more than 80 000 government employees and teachers from across south Korea.
At
the rally, speakers condemned the Park Geun-hye regime for working hard
to make a reform of pension for government employees aimed to cut down
their pension.
They
cannot remain a passive onlooker to the end of the workers' life caused
by Park Geun-hye, they said, calling for turning out with strong
resolution in the action to judge the present regime.
They
also called for eliminating a handful of conservative ruling forces and
plutocrats and protecting people's right to existence through the
anti-"government" actions.
At
the end of the rally the participants waged a demonstration in protest
against the unpopular rule of the Park Geun Hye group, holding placards
written “Defend people’s right to live”.
They
declared that they would never stop their actions until their demands
are met, shouting slogans such as “Raise public pension” and “Stop
retrogressive revision of the pension system for government employees.”
Meanwhile,
the Pusan Headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade
Unions (KCTU) held a rally at the plaza of Pusan Railway Station on
March 25 at which they accused the Park Geun Hye regime of working hard
to turn work sites into those of part timers under an unreasonable
pretext and stamp out the labor movement.
They noted that now the workers are under critical situation and they would launch an action for the workers and people.
At
the end of the rally the participants staged a demonstration, chanting
slogan “Step down the Park regime killing all workers”.
The
south Koreans’ wrath against the ruling quarters, who are lining their
pockets without regard to what the working people may think, are higher.
