The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK, Juche Idea Study Group of England and UK Korean Friendship Association wish to support the call made by the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea(DPRK) for a joint investigation into the 'Sony Hacking Incident';
An atmosphere reminiscent of the worst days of the Cold War and the McCarthy era is prevailing in the US . Obama and various high level US officials have made wild allegations that the DPRK is responsible for the hacking of the Sony corporation. This is a gravely serious allegation for which no real evidence is being presented. Indeed it would appear the 'balance of probabilities ' theory is being used rather than a criminal law investigation and that the principle of
'innocent until proven guilty ' has been discarded. Basically it appears that the US is trying to fit up the DPRK so it can unleash a new round of sanctions and pressure on the DPRK.
It appears to have escaped the notice of the US authorities that it could be parties other than the DPRK that are responsible for this act . The hacking could have come from inside the US itself . Some have even suggested that this is a false flag operation by US intelligence organisations.
The call for a joint investigation into the hacking incident made by the DPRK Foreign Ministry on Saturday 20th of December offers the best way of proceeding. If the US has nothing to hide then it should accept the demand of the DPRK Foreign Ministry for a joint probe. Should it reject this it will mean that this is no real evidence of the DPRK's involvement in the incident and that the hullabaloo kicked up by the US authorities and their overpaid talentless camp followers in Hollywood is one based on false evidence.
