Pyongyang,
March 10 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is the worst human rights abuser in the
world which has neither qualification nor face to talk about the human
rights issue, says Rodong Sinmun Monday in an article.
The article goes on:
The nearly 70 year-long history of the U.S. imperialists' occupation of south Korea is a crime-woven history characterized by aggression, war, killing, plunder and human rights abuses.
Washington's hostile moves against the DPRK are a blatant challenge to the independent right of the Korean people.
The U.S. imperialists, far from drawing a lesson from their shameful defeat in the past Korean war, have made the whole gamut of armed provocations in the sky, land and sea, constantly straining the situation on the Korean peninsula.
Notably, they have massively introduced nuclear weapons into south Korea and staged nuclear war drills targeting the DPRK, gravely threatening peace on the Korean peninsula and the people.
Now Washington is escalating tensions, terming the regular military drills of the DPRK "provocation" and "threat". It is even making politically-motivated provocations, taking issue with the latter over its nuclear issue and "human rights" issue.
The service personnel and people of the DPRK chose the most advantageous socialist system and have protected it at the cost of their lives. The U.S. is working hard to stamp it out and establish corrupted U.S.-style "democracy" in the whole Korean peninsula.
The Korean nation and the world progressives will always remember the U.S. heinous human rights abuses and certainly punish it on behalf of history. -0-
