The ASSPUK , JISGE and UK Korean Friendship Association strongly support the indictment against south Korea for human rights abuses contained in the White paper issued by the  secretariat of the Committee For the Peaceful Reunification of Korea on the 18th of March.
                 As the white paper says ' Human rights are guaranteed by state power before anything else'. South Korea is a puppet regime, an artificial state-let created by US imperialism at the point of the bayonet by suppressing the people. The south Korean regime is a puppet of the US .
                            The south Korean people suffer from the oppression of the US occupying forces and the harsh fascist rule of the south Korean puppets.

                                           The US troops occupying south Korea have committed countless crimes including murder, rape, arson , paedophilia, robbery and drug dealing. In material terms the losses caused to south Korea by the US imperialist occupation runs into trillions of dollars. However the cost in moral terms is so high that it cannot be measured or estimated.
                               The south Korean fascist rulers have turned south Korea into a living hell where human rights are trampled upon.  Huge numbers of people over the years have been arrested and jailed under the "National Security Law " and "Anti-Communist Law " . Many innocent people were executed on false charges including those in the 1st and 2nd cases of "the People's Revolutionary Party". In south Korea a crude version of McCarthyism prevails which amounts to fascist despotism.
       The south Korean fascist puppet rulers crushed by repression the communist and revolutionary movement in south Korea as well as the pro reunification patriotic forces. Leaders of the Revolutionary Party for Reunification Kim Jong Tae and Cheo Yong Do were murdered by the fascist Park Chung Hee(father of Park Geun Hye) puppet regime . Both the Revolutionary Party for Reunification and the Strategic Liberation Party were suppressed by the south Korean military fascist regime in the 1960s.
                                                Today south Korea is characterised by extreme disparities in wealth and the denial of basic labour rights . The gap between the rich and poor is enormous. Many people live in slum and many are homeless.
South Korea is a thoroughly corrupt society run by the Jaebols(big corporations) which are linked to international monopoly capital. South Korea leads the world in the numbers of suicides and is known as the 'Republic of Suicide'.
                                        As the CPRK white paper says "All facts prove that south Korea is the worst tundra and barren land of human rights, the white paper said, noting that the puppet group has not an iota of face to talk about other's "human rights". The anti DPRK " human rights " campaign launched by the south Korean puppet regime in league with the international reactionary forces simply serves to distract from south Korea's own human rights abuses.

               We call for the widest possible dissemination of the CPRK 's white paper . Moreover it is time for the progressive and anti-imperialist forces of the UK to mount a big campaign to exposure the human rights abuses of south Korea.
