The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement in support of the Committee For Peaceful Reunification of Korea of the 27th of November concerning the smear campaign of the south Korean puppet 'news agency ' Yonhap News ':

Our organisations, the ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA, have always known that Yonhap News is the shock brigade of the south Korean puppet lie machine against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. All the time Yonhap News spreads false stories and slander against the DPRK  which is often recycled  the capitalist media of the West .

Yonhap News is controlled by the south Korean National Intelligence Service (NIS ) which feeds it with misinformation about the DPRK which Yonhap spreads throughout not only south Korea and Asia but the whole world.
It is intolerable that they should slander the supreme leadership of the DPRK and the socialist system. Worse still they are spreading false stories at a time when negotiations between the DPRK and south Korea are being held . Should there be a serious rupture in relations between the DPRK and south Korea then the blame will be solely attributable to Yonhap and the NIS.

The DPRK is very correct to be wary of the intentions of the south Korean puppets as they are showing their true face by spreading false information and slander.

KCNA Commentary Slams U.S.-Japan Joint Military Drills

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The U.S. staged large-scale naval joint military exercises with Japan with lots of ultra-modern warships including nuclear carrier Ronald Reagan involved.
    The U.S. forces command in the Pacific described them as annual exercises for peace and stability but it is a trite trick to cover up their aggressive nature.
    The U.S. does not want peace and stability in Asia including the Korean Peninsula nor allow them.
    It is because the U.S. strategy for world domination requires constant danger of a war and persistent instability in the region.
    It is the calculation of the U.S. that only when the situation remains unstable in the region, is it possible to justify the presence of its huge aggression troops and military bases in different parts of the region and step up the formation of a military siege to the potential rivals under the pretext of "defending peace".
    That's why the U.S. keeps staging military exercises under various codenames on the Korean Peninsula and in its vicinity despite the worldwide rebuff and criticism.
    When the north and the south were holding the reunion of separated families and relatives recently, the U.S. staged frantic anti-DPRK war exercises together with the south Korean military warmongers with nuclear carrier Ronald Reagan involved, chilling the atmosphere of the reunion and escalating the tension.
    The recent joint military drills of the U.S. and Japan are premeditated saber-rattling to keep the situation in the region including the peninsula tense in a bid to secure a justification for political and military intervention and provide an opportunity of invasion.
    An official of the U.S. Defence Department shortly ago blustered that "north Korea was the biggest threat to the U.S.-Japan security alliance." The U.S. forces command in the Pacific claimed that the recent exercises were aimed to jointly cope with the emergencies in the region. This proves that the drills were targeted against the DPRK and its neighbors.
    The U.S. is the arch criminal wantonly violating peace and stability on the Korean peninsula and in the region.
    The U.S. is seriously mistaken if it thinks it can decide the fate of the peninsula and the region through high-handed moves for igniting a war.
    The U.S. brigandish acts of harassing peace are bound to be countered by strong measure for self-defence.
    The DPRK will continue to take just measures for self-defence for safeguarding the sovereignty of the country and the peace and stability of the region from the U.S. war moves. -0-

CPRK Blames Yonhap News for Smear Campaign against DPRK

 Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- On Nov. 25, Yonhap News of south Korea reported that the north is pursuing a "policy of horror and dictatorial policy," unspeakable invectives, referring to the contents of the press release which had been opened to public ahead of an "academic symposium" to be held by the "National Institute for Security Strategy Studies".
    The spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) issued a statement on Friday in this regard:
    This is not only an intolerable insult to the dignity of the DPRK's supreme leadership but a grave politically-motivated provocation aimed at plunging the inter-Korean relations into catastrophe.
    What merits a serious attention is that this false propaganda is being openly conducted under the wire-pulling of the south Korean authorities behind the scene, the statement noted, and continued:
    The misinformation spread by Yonhap News was provided by the Intelligence Service and the above-said institute that faked up the groundless paper on the basis of such lies is an anti-DPRK plot-breeding organ under the IS.
    The false propaganda is timed to coincide with the working-level contact which is slated to take place for the talks between authorities of the north and the south. This self-exposes that the south Korean authorities have no idea of mending the inter-Korean relations through dialogue.
    All facts clearly show that the south Korean authorities have the black-hearted intention to keep stand off with the north to the last though they try to give impression they are interested in dialogue.
    Explicitly speaking, it is the steadfast stand and will of the DPRK that it is hard to settle any matter with those seeking to do harm to the dignity of its supreme leadership. -0-

KCNA Commentary Slams S. Korean Chief Executive's Reckless Remarks against DPRK

    Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean chief executive is letting loose a whole string of jargons finding fault with the DPRK's nuclear deterrent for self-defence.
    During her recent foreign junkets she solicited cooperation in the anti-DPRK nuclear racket, jabbering that "it is necessary to pressurize the north to make a strategic decision to abandon its nuclear program and opt for changes."
    It is quite natural that the international community is getting tired of hearing ever louder calls made by her for the "north's abandonment of its nuclear program" during her foreign trips.
    This is because she is just echoing her master's above-said trumpeting while failing to clarify the nature of the issue and solution to it.
    The nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula was spawned as the U.S. reduced south Korea to the world's biggest nuclear arsenal and threatened and blackmailed the DPRK with ceaseless nuclear war drills.
    The U.S. has staged more than 18 000 nuclear war exercises and joint military drills against the DPRK in south Korea and its vicinity since the Korean Armistice Agreement was concluded.
    Such fact goes to prove who should make a strategic decision of dismantling nuclear weapons and opt for cooperation in the efforts to settle the nuclear issue in order to ensure peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in the region.
    This being a hard reality, the present chief executive is turning her face away from her master's nuclear blackmail and unreasonably taking issue with the north's nuclear deterrent for self-defence. Such attitude is unjustifiable.
    The DPRK's nuclear deterrent poses no problem under any circumstances as it is a treasured sword of justice for defending the security of the country and nation from the U.S. hostile moves and ensuring regional peace and stability.
    It is the U.S. and south Korean authorities who should be called into question.
    The successive south Korean authorities have played the role of servants and shock force in the U.S. nuclear war rackets against the fellow countrymen in the north, offering the whole land of south Korea as its nuclear outposts.
    Shortly ago, the south Korean authorities decided to reflect the so-called "4D operation plan" aimed at a preemptive nuclear attack on the DPRK in "OPLAN 5015", a fresh scenario for invading it, in collusion with the U.S.
    The reality goes to prove that what the chief executive trumpeted during her foreign junkets is nothing but sheer sophism to cover up her master's criminal nature and justify her policy of confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north by misinterpreting the nature and root cause of the nuclear issue on the peninsula.
    Now is the time for both sides to refrain from any act of rattling the nerves of the other side according to the agreement reached at the north-south high-level urgent contact.
    However, she has let loose a string of reckless remarks slandering and provoking the fellow countrymen in the north when it is more urgent to ensure stable situation than ever before. This is an unpardonable perfidy as it is aimed at chilling the climate for dialogue by throwing complexity and obstacles in the way of improving the north-south relations.
    All facts go to prove that the south Korean chief executive is indeed a rare harasser of peace and a traitor to the nation as she is keen on prolonging her political career under the patronage of her master, utterly indifferent to the desire of the Korean nation and international community for peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia.
    The south Korean chief executive would be well advised to stop her rash acts, properly understanding where she stands.

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA)  issued a joint statement denouncing the fascist action against the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions;

We have recently learnt of the shocking repression carried out by the south Korean puppet fascist regime of Park Geun Hye against the Korean Confederation of Trades Unions(KCTU) namely the search of the offices of the KCTU on the 21st of November.









The KCTU is a legitimate organisation for the defence of the rights of workers. It is intolerable that its offices should be searched.  Even Thatcher never dared to send police to search the offices of the British Trade Union Congress.

The south Korean people are struggling against the neo liberal austerity policies been imposed by the south Korean puppet regime of Thatcher like Park Geun Hye . South Korean people are also struggling against the sinister scheme to rewrite history so as to whitewash past south Korean dictatorships and the actions of pro Japanese traitors in south Korea.

We denounce the south Korean puppet fascist  regime for brutal suppression of  the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) and other working people.     The fascist crackdown on the KCTU is intolerable and an assault of the rights of working people and the international labour movement must show solidarity with the the south Korean people.

KCNA Indicts U.S. for Its Hideous Human Rights Abuses

  Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- The Korean Central News Agency in its indictment Wednesday said that the worst refugee crisis is sweeping the world at present.
    Tens of thousands of refugees who lost their homes due to the bloody wars being fought by the U.S. pursuant to its policy of intervention and its scenario to topple the governments of other countries are wandering in quest of a means of living, feeling nostalgic for their dear native places.
    Their wretched plight fully lays bare the hypocritical nature of the U.S. and the West who are styling themselves "human rights champions" and their true colors as the mastermind of the refugee crisis.
    The world is in the grip of the worst refugee crisis since the Second World War, the indictment noted, and went on:
    Europe turned into mayhem due to the unheard-of influx of refugees.
    It is said that more than 502 000 refugees are on the way to Europe except for those who have immigrated to it since early this year.
    Many refugees drowned on their way to Europe aboard old smuggling boats after being cheated by brokers.
    Even those who succeeded in reaching Europe are more dead than alive.
    Newspapers and TVs show photos and videos dealing with human rights abuses such as policemen forcibly deporting refugees by trucks like boxes, throwing food on them the way they do to animals and kicking a man running with a child in his arms to fall down. All these maltreatments are sparking off great resentment and concern.
    This refugee crisis is an inevitable product of the U.S. hegemonic policy of intervention aimed to realize its ambition to dominate the world.
    The alarming increase of the number of refugees in the Mideast and North Africa is mainly attributable to the collapse of governments and serious social instability in the regions caused by foreign forces' persistent interference and subversive activities and sabotage.
    In the new century the U.S. has ignited many wars under the various pretexts in order to dominate the world, triggering off an unprecedented refugee crisis.
    The air raids being made by the U.S. and the West on Syria under the pretext of "war against terrorism" are producing an unprecedented number of refugees.
    The "color revolution" which the U.S. regards as another mainstay for world supremacy along with war is one of the main causes of refugee crisis.
    Harboring illusion about the U.S. and toeing its line lead to self-destruction, the indictment noted, and went on:
    This is clearly evidenced by what is happening in Europe flooded with refugees.
    The reality in the Mideast and North African countries and utter chaos in Europe teach the truth of history that any country gets subservient to the U.S. without distinct ism and stance may make the prospect and future of the nation gloomy and bring it a tragic fate.
    Many countries and international bodies are busy with diplomacy calling for the early settlement of the refugee crisis.
    But this crisis can hardly find its solution and the world can't be peaceful as long as the U.S., the root cause of all the misfortunes and calamities of humankind, exists.
    The best solution to the refugee crisis is to severely punish the U.S., the world's worst human right abuser and disturber of the world peace and stability, the indictment stressed. -0

S. Korean Police Searches KCTU Offices

  Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency hurled more than 370 policemen into operations for searching offices of the headquarters of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, progressive labor movement organization, and its affiliated bodies on November 21, according to the south Korean CBS and MBC.
    The fascist policemen stormed at least ten offices of the KCTU headquarters and eight trade unions including the Metal Workers Trade Union and Builders Trade Union and conducted the search operation early in the morning under the pretext of seeking "evidence proving the spearheading of the violent demonstration."
    The KCTU held a press conference outside Sodaemun Police Station in Seoul at which it declared that the police's search is like the guilty party filing the suit first.
    The assailant's suppression of the victim would spark strong uproar among the people, the KCTU warned. -0-

CPRK Secretariat Slams S. Korean Chief Executive's Solicitation of Cooperation in Anti-DPRK Nuclear Racket

   Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea Tuesday issued information bulletin No. 1102 as regards the south Korean chief executive's disclosure of her inveterate anti-DPRK attitude at international meetings during her foreign tours from Nov. 14 to 23.
    The information bulletin said:
    The chief executive of south Korea, wherever she went, conducted such disgraceful diplomacy as soliciting cooperation in the anti-DPRK nuclear racket, jabbering that she expected the "north to dismantle its nuclear weapons and opt for opening and cooperation" and "it is necessary to pressurize the north to make a strategic decision of scraping nuclear program and to bring about changes."
    This is, in fact, nothing but foolish acts of the south Korean authorities to cover up the nature of the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula and justify their confrontation policy and the U.S. saber-rattling for a nuclear war against the DPRK.
    It is publicly recognized that the nuclear issue on the peninsula was spawned due to the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK and its moves to stifle it.
    The U.S. is still escalating the tension on the peninsula, threatening the DPRK with nuclear weapons and the south Korean warmongers are openly pursuing a wild ambition for a nuclear war against the DPRK, zealously toeing its line.
    She insulted the compatriots in the north and solicited cooperation in the nuclear racket against the DPRK, regardless of the nature of international meetings and their participants. This was a vivid manifestation of her inveterate hostility towards the DPRK.
    Peace is preserved on the peninsula despite ever more desperate moves of the U.S. and its allies to stifle the DPRK with nuclear weapons. This is entirely ascribable to the self-defensive nuclear deterrent of the DPRK.
    It is shame on the Korean nation that she pulls up the DPRK over its nuclear weapons protecting peace on the peninsula and security of the nation.
    The south Korean authorities should clearly understand that the DPRK will bolster up its self-defensive nuclear deterrent which represents its dignity and pride as long as the U.S. hostile policy and danger of a nuclear war persist and the DPRK's nuclear deterrent can never be a bargaining chip. -0-

KCNA Commentary Slams U.S. Human Rights Row against DPRK

   Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. held an international meeting in south Korea to deal with the so-called "human rights issue" of the DPRK.
    At the meeting the "special envoy" of the U.S. Department of State cried out for "keeping sustained pressure upon north Korea in the future, too," jabbering that to improve the human rights performance in north Korea is a long-term and hard struggle but the U.S. and its allies should not give it up.
    Other riff-raffs asserted that the DPRK's "human rights issue" should be universally called into question.
    These outbursts are nothing but ridiculous outpourings let loose by those betes noires to bring down the social system of the DPRK out of their outdated inveterate repugnancy and hostility towards it.
    The U.S. "human rights" row is a product of its hostile policy towards the DPRK. It is nothing but a last-ditch effort of a drowning guy catching at a straw as it finds it hard to hurt Pyongyang through a nuclear racket.
    That is proved by the fact that the U.S. tricksters including Obama uttered that the "human rights row" is more effective for bringing down north Korea than a military method, claiming the "settlement of the human rights issue" hinges on the spread of more information.
    Each "human rights" row the U.S. kicks off faces the strong opposition and criticism from the world community as it is an open provocation to the sovereign states courting its displeasure.
    The U.S. is now hit hard from all sides in the international arena due to its domestic and foreign policies against human rights.
    The DPRK remains unperturbed no matter when and where the U.S. and its allies stage a "human rights" farce against the former.
    It has the Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses and the Korean-style human rights standard of prioritizing the wishes and interests of the working people that the U.S. and other capitalist countries can neither have nor imitate.
    The U.S. is at a loss what to do with tens of millions of poor people and more than hundreds of thousands of homeless people and over a hundred thousand victims of shooting sprees a year. For Washington to find fault with someone's "human rights" performance is like flies over a dumping ground scoffing at bees and butterflies of a garden.

       The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of the 24th of November;

     Yesterday was the 5th anniversary of the Yonghyong firing incident . The south Korean puppets committed the reckless and base act of staging a live firing drill  in the waters around the five islands in the West Sea,an area of extreme tension where the socialist DPRK and fascist south Korea confront each other at gunpoint , an area where there have been many armed clashes claiming casualties. Despite the history of the area and the warnings of the KPA Southwestern front command the puppets went ahead with live firing .

          Worse still the south Korean puppets staged a so-called "memorial service " at which they blatantly refused to accept responsiblity for having provoked the
Yongphyong Incident in the first place. They even tried to present as a victory when the world knows that it was a grave defeat for them and at the time they ran around like frightened rats.
                       The grossly provocative act of defacing the DPRK National Flag
was carried out by ultra-fascist hooligans and scum in Seoul as well as the act of insulting the Supreme leadership of the DPRK. The south Korean puppets should be made to pay dearly for these acts.

         The stance of the Policy Department of the DPRK NDC is a correct one. The south Korean puppets are not heeding the letter or the spirit of the agreements reached in August but are persisting in extreme anti- DPRK provocations and warmongering  thus it will become impossible to solve any problems through dialogue and negotiation.

If the south Korean authorities truly value peace and reconciliation then they need to change course at once !

Unfinished Action

The actions of south Korean people of every degree against the south Korean authorities' move to introduce "government-censored history textbook" embellishing pro-Japanese acts and dictatorship are intensive after the Ministry of Education announced its decision of the “government-censored history textbook" on Nov. 3.

The 4th pan-national rally was held in Seoul on Nov. 7 with the participation of 1 000 people with an organization composed of 466 civic bodies.

The speakers, in the rally, they strongly urged the government to stop demagoguery, false advertisement and its moves to introduce "government-censored history textbook".

They appealed to the broad segments of people to take active participation in the actions against the authorities’ move to introduce "government-censored history textbook".

At the same day, pupils of secondary and high school noted that the current regime is going to implant history embellishing dictatorship into the pupils, carrying placard written “The Park Geun-hye regime should withdraw its move to introduce "government-censored history textbook”.

They staged a street march, while chanting slogans “Withdraw the announcement of ” and “We want to learn true history”.

The south Korean authorities, frightened by public actions against the "government-censored history textbook", announced it in advance, however, it only turned out to be counter-productive.

The south Korean people’s unremitting action will continue.

Pro-Japanese Acts of Treachery

November 17 is the day of humiliation for the Korean nation.

110 years ago, Japan surrounded the palace of Feudal Chosun with its heavily armed troops and forced Korea to ink the “Ulsa Five-Point Treaty” in violation of the norms of international law.

Since then, Korea had been deprived of its national sovereignty with the result that the Korean nation had been subjected to the bitter fate of being a ruined nation.

Japan had enforced colonial fascist rule for nearly four decades to impose upon Koreans immeasurable sufferings and spiritual and material damage.

Nevertheless, Japan, refusing to redeem their past crimes, has made frantic bid to distort history beautifying their unhappy past.

South Korean students' picket against Abe's junket to Seoul in front of the Cheongwadae

The south Korean authorities has tuned a deaf ear to unhappy past crimes, in contrary, it is engrossing in treacherous acts against the same brethren in league with Japan, driving the south Korean people into fury.

On Nov. 2, the south Korean chief executive invited Japanese prime minister Abe to Seoul to work bloodshot eye to bolster military alliance with south Korea, the US and Japan.

The Solidarity for Peace and Reunification and members under the People’s Action against War and for Peace held a press conference on Nov. 2 at which they accused Japanese prime minster Abe of pushing forward the the "Self-Defense Forces" advance into the peninsula without making any apology for the past crimes.

70 civic organizations including the Solidarity for Progress held a press conference at Gwanghwamun square at which they said that they are disappointed at the government’s attitude to hold talks with Japan debating its rearmament of militarism and reinvasion of the peninsula.

They strongly protested against south Korea-Japan talks, giving a performance satirizing the south Korean government’s pro-Japanese acts of treachery and Tokyo’s impudent stance.

South Korea with signs of ruin

In south Korea where the law of jungle governs, delinquency has been rapidly increased, arousing social chaos and fear. The south Korean police announced that more than 10 000 teenagers have committed violent crimes such as homicide and sexual assault for the past 4 years. According to the report submitted to the “national assembly” of south Korea, from 2011 to 2014 nearly 13 000 teenagers were arrested for violating such as homicide, burglary, rape and arson. Of them, 9 569 people committed sexual crimes and it accounted for 70% of all. The number of burglars and arsonists are 3 131 and 1 029 respectively . The crimes of violence by the youth have increased 50 per cent in the past 2 years. Last year, the number of teenagers who committed the 4 major crimes of violence is over 3 400.  In 2008 the number of rapists were 464 and it has quadrupled to 2 029 last year. In the same period, the homicide has increased by 21 percentage. The rate of second offenders has been increasing. Last year, among 94 000 juvenile criminals, the second offenders are 33 000. The number of juvenile criminals in the first half of this year amounts up to 1 535. In south Korean society, the people are ready to make the sacrifice of the others for the sake of their own without hesitation. Due to the corrupt society, the crimes of violence committed by the youth are reported in an unbroken chain. Arousing the denouncement and condemnation from the people, the ruling Saenuri Party of south Korea is very notorious for the frequent sexual assaults, abuses of power and grafts. The ruling circles are ringleaders of the crimes and comparing with them, the juvenile crime is a drop in a bucket.

NDC Policy Department Spokesman Hits at S. Korean Authorities' Reckless Provocation

  Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Policy Department of the DPRK National Defence Commission (NDC) issued the following statement Tuesday over one more anti-DPRK confrontation farce staged in south Korea with the lapse of five years after the Yonphyong Island shelling incident as a momentum:
    On Nov. 23 the south Korean military authorities staged a reckless artillery firing drill in the hotspot of the West Sea of Korea.
    For fear of the retaliatory spirit and retaliation of our servicepersons in the southwestern sector of the front, they retracted their plan for live shell firing toward waters of the DPRK side but staged a firing drill in the waters around the five islands in the West Sea, the most acute area. This was the most vicious military provocation aimed at confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and a reckless saber-rattling by those who are oblivious of the defeat they suffered five years ago.
    What was more serious is a "memorial service on the fifth anniversary" held in Seoul, another anti-DPRK confrontation farce.
    Attending the service were the authorities including the prime minister and the defence minister and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the chief of staff of the three services and other political and military bellicose elements of south Korea and even the commander of the south Korea-U.S. combined forces.
    At the "service" they didn't utter a word of apology for the fact that they provoked the Yonphyong Island shelling incident, but made absurd remarks aimed to shift the blame for it onto the DPRK.
    What enraged us is that they conducted without hesitation such horrible deeds as tearing the flag of the DPRK and hurting the dignity of its supreme leadership, a sin to be punished by Heaven.
    They even used reptile media to spread sheer lies that their shelling in the incident left ten-odd soldiers of the KPA dead and tens heavily wounded.
    The gravity of the situation lies in that the above-said confrontation farce was staged under the direct wire-pulling of Chongwadae.
    As soon as the chief executive of Chongwadae came back from her foreign trip, she incited the fever of confrontation with the DPRK in her "video message", in which she expressed "condolence" on the dead provokers of the Yonphyong Island shelling incident and called for "rapid counteraction to any provocation by the north" and "perfect military preparedness".
    After all, the south Korean authorities clearly showed again that their hostile and confrontation "policy towards the north" still remains unchanged.
    It is as clear as noonday what results such confrontation racket they staged when various pending issues between the north and the south are put on the agenda, will bring about.

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement in support of the statement of the command of the southwestern front of the Korean People's Army (KPA);

We support the statement of the southwestern front command of the Korean People's Army  because the south Korean puppets are ignoring the August agreement made at the inter-Korean contact at Panmunjom  by planning an act of provocation involving  military hardware such as K-9, 155 mm self-propelled howitzer, 130 mm multiple launch rocket system, ground-to-ground guided missile "Spike", helicopter gunship AH-1S and other lethal weapons involved in the area around Paekryong Island and Yonpyong Island on Nov. 23. This is an intolerable act which will greatly increase tension and could result in a serious military clash with unforeseen consequences.

      It would seem that the south Korean  puppets have forgotten or wilfully ignored the lessons of the Yongphyong Island shelling incident that they provoked  five years ago. Everyone remembers the scenes five years ago of giant plumes of smoke rising from the island and south Korean puppet traitor Lee Myung Bak was so scared that he run away and hid in an underground bunker. The Korean People's Army under the skilful command  of dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un scored a great victory against the US imperialists and south Korean puppets on the 23 November 2010.

The foolhardy and historically illiterate south Korean puppets are planning to rename the  Yongphyong shelling incident   the "Yonphyong Island Shelling Battle" with the absurd and vainglorious aim of painting it as a victory . In reality it was a massive defeat for the south Korean puppets.


We support the strong militant stance of the DPRK revolutionary armed forces to smash any provocation of the south Korean puppets. The south Korean puppets must adhere to what they agreed with the DPRK in August.

Spokesman for KPA Southwestern Front Command Warns S. Korean Military Not to Forget Its Bitter Defeat in Yonphyong Shelling

 Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the command of the southwestern front of the Korean People's Army (KPA) issued the following statement on Sunday in connection with the fact that the south Korean military warmongers are running high fever in their sinister military provocation, oblivious of a lesson drawn from Yonphyong Island shelling incident five years ago.
    As well known, Yonphyong Island shelling incident that happened on Nov. 23, 2010 was recorded as an event to be specially recorded in history of the north-south relations as it clearly proved once again how miserable the doom of those hell-bent on the confrontation with the fellow countrymen is.
    However, the south Korean military is still resorting to the childish farce to mislead the public opinion and make a mockery of the world.
    They are planning to conduct a provocative firing at the waters of the DPRK with the military hardware such as K-9, 155 mm self-propelled howitzer, 130 mm multiple launch rocket system, ground-to-ground guided missile "Spike", helicopter gunship AH-1S and other lethal weapons involved in the area around Paekryong Island and Yonpyong Island on Nov. 23, far from drawing a lesson from their bitter defeat on Yonphyong Island five years ago.
    Prior to this, they opened to public on Nov. 15 the news that the marine corps command is pushing ahead with a proposal for changing the official name of "Yonphyong Island shelling provocation" into "Yonphyong Island Shelling Battle".
    The reason they said is that if they call it the "north's shelling provocation on Yonpyong Island", they can mislead the public opinion to give impression that the KPA is the "real provocateur" but it would be hard for them to evade the world criticism that they sustained unilateral heavy blows and thus unable to erase their disgraceful record of defeat. So, they are planning to rename it the "shelling battle" and give impression that there was a close battle between the KPA and them in a bid to paint their defeat as a "victory".
    The south Korean war-like military forces' act of renaming Yonphyong Island shelling incident is bringing another more serious misfortune to themselves.
    What should not be overlooked is their remark that they would "raise the level of the honorable treatment" to the dead and the wounded of Yonphyong Island shelling.
    Lurking behind this is a sinister intention.
    Their deplorable plight still suffering from persecution mania they caught in the face of strong firepower strike by the KPA is spreading war-weariness and evasion of military service among young and middle-aged south Koreans.
    The south Korean military, being panic-stricken, is finding a way of putting the situation under control, and it seeks to tempt the soldiers to military service and encourage them to stand in the van of the confrontation with the compatriots in the north by "leveling up honorable treatment" to this end.
    Herein lies the real purpose of the authorities' renaming.
    The servicepersons of the Southwestern Front of the KPA take peace dearer than any others.
    Therefore, they don't and will not have mercy on those who disturb peace even a little as they didn't in the past.
    If the south Korean military fires at the waters of the DPRK in the hotspot area of the West Sea of Korea on Monday, they will experience merciless retaliation of the Southwestern Front units of the DPRK on the five islands.
    The bellicose forces of the south Korean military should come to their senses.
    They should go by the August agreement if it is truly dear to them.
    They should not dig their own graves with war drumbeats for the preemptive strike against the DPRK but draw a lesson from the bitter defeat they suffered 5 years ago.
    They would be well advised to remember that the provokers are always doomed. -0-

Kim Jong Un Sends Letter to Participants in 4th Conference of Frontrunners of Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement

 Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- Supreme leader Kim Jong Un sent a letter "Let Us Bring About a Fundamental Turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in Line with the Demands of the Developing Revolution" to those attending the Fourth Conference of Frontrunners in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement on November 20, Juche 104 (2015).
    The full text of the letter says:
    In this stirring period, when the whole Party, the entire army and all the people have turned out in the general offensive in hearty response to the Party's militant call to greet the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the apex of the revolution noteworthy in its history, the Fourth Conference of Frontrunners in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is being held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the launch of this movement.
    This conference will constitute an important occasion in dynamically stepping up the building of a thriving socialist country by further raising the fierce flames of the movement in line with the demands of the developing revolution.
    The great Comrades Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il proposed waging this movement and ensured that the three revolutions–ideological, technological and cultural–were carried on vigorously in all sectors of the revolution and construction, thus performing imperishable exploits for accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution, the cause of building a thriving socialist country.
    For the first time in history Comrade Kim Il Sung clarified the idea of continuing the revolution in the realms of ideology, technology and culture even after the establishment of the socialist system, put forward the revolution in these realms as the strategic line in socialist construction, and worked out a plan for conducting a three-revolution red flag movement as a mass movement to implement the strategic line. This movement, as a development of the Chollima Workteam Movement, was a historic starting point for bringing about a radical turn in the transformation of man and the construction of socialism by organically combining the effort to carry on the three revolutions with other mass movements.
    True to the ennobling intention of Comrade Kim Il Sung, Comrade
    Kim Jong Il kindled the flames of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement and provided energetic guidance for the movement, thus achieving brilliant successes in carrying out the three revolutions. Today our people have grown up as the highly dignified, independent motive force of the revolution, and our country is rushing forward to attain the status of a knowledge economy and a civilized nation, demonstrating to the whole world its might as a politico-ideological power and a world-class military power.     Kim Jong Il achieved by regarding the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement as a powerful weapon in carrying out the cause of the Juche revolution and wisely leading the movement.
    I extend warm thanks and militant greetings, in the name of the Workers' Party of Korea, to all those attending this conference and the Order of the Three-Revolution Red Flag laureates and persons of merit in the Songun era across the country, who have rendered great services to building a prosperous country by dynamically waging the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement with unfailing loyalty to the Party and the leaders.
    Today we are faced with the heavy task of building a thriving socialist country at an early date by bringing about a revolutionary turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in line with the demands of the new era of the Juche revolution.
    This movement is a powerful propellant for building a thriving country and a mighty weapon for bringing the final victory of the cause of the Juche revolution earlier.
    The struggle to build a thriving country is, in essence, a struggle to transform all the domains of ideology, technology and culture in line with the demands of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.
    The process of building a thriving country, the process of bringing about great, miraculous changes by setting the highest goals for the comprehensive realization of the people's dreams and ideals and blazing the trail, is a process of training the people, the motive force of this effort, to be genuine revolutionaries who have armed themselves firmly with the Juche idea and the Songun idea, who are possessed of great spiritual strength. It is also a process of the struggle to radically develop the national economy on the strength of science and technology and create the highest quality of civilization at the highest level. Only when we wage the ideological, technological and cultural revolutions dynamically can we consolidate to the maximum the strength of the country as a politico-ideological, military and youth power and reach the objective of achieving the status of an economic and civilized power at the highest speed.
    The line of the three revolutions the great leaders clarified in an original way and applied is an ever-victorious banner with eternal viability and the general line our Party must hold fast to in building socialism.
    In an attempt to check our people's struggle to build a thriving country, the imperialist reactionaries are resorting to unprecedented schemes aimed at stifling our country. The showdown with them is a struggle to overwhelm and defeat capitalism in all of the political, military, economic and cultural fields by defending and glorifying our most advantageous ideology and culture and consolidating the might of the Juche-based science and technology in every way. When we make continuous advance and continuous innovations under the unfurled banner of the revolution in the three realms of ideology, technology and culture, the cause of the Juche revolution and the cause of the Songun revolution pioneered on Paektu will achieve victory after victory by overcoming all manner of challenges and trials. Now is an important period when the Korean revolutionaries must achieve the decisive victory of socialism over capitalism by flying higher the three red flags–ideological, technological and cultural–and fully discharge the grave mission and tasks they have assumed for the times and history.
    If we are to hasten final victory by carrying out the line of the three revolutions, we must bring about a revolutionary turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
    This movement is the highest level of movement that sets our Party's highest programme, which is modelling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, as its fighting slogan and a mass movement involving the whole country and all the people.
    Permeated in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is our Party's noble people-first idea of turning the revolution itself into an ardent love for the people, training them into great beings and carrying out the revolution and construction by bringing their voluntary enthusiasm and creative wisdom into fullest scope. Also crystallized in the movement are the offensive spirit of braving obstacles and difficulties cropping up in the way of the revolution and the spirit of the red flag of Paektu, which is the spirit of making continuous innovations and continuous advance with unyielding will.
    No movement is more effective and more powerful than the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in opening a short-cut to final victory by bringing about a sweeping change in the ideological, technological and cultural spheres.
    By waging the movement more dynamically, we can train all members of society into genuine advocates of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, solidify the political and military position of our revolution and accelerate the building of an economic giant and civilized nation, thereby building on this land a thriving socialist country where the national strength is great, everything prospers and the people live without envying anything in the world.
    Now, however, the movement is not being waged on the appropriate level as suited to the development of the times and the demands of the Party.
    The practices of giving precedence to facelifting buildings over ideological remoulding of people and production have yet to be eliminated in the movement, and some units, steeped in defeatism, do not engage in the movement proactively putting the blame on poor conditions. Party guidance to the movement fails to measure up to the demands of the developing reality, and still lingering are the deviations of giving guidance in a formalistic way caught in the snare of stereotype and set patterns. This has resulted in the movement failing to give full play to its vitality.
    To surmount these deviations and bring about a radical turn in the movement so as to safeguard and glorify the immortal revolutionary exploits of the great leaders and hasten final victory in building a thriving country–this is the intention of our Party and the objective of this conference.
    All Party organizations should be clearly aware of the Party's intention and wage the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement more dynamically on a new high.
    They should set correct tasks to be tackled in carrying out the three revolutions in line with the demands of the times when a general offensive for final victory is being made, before waging in an aggressive way the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement for implementing these tasks.
    Giving definite precedence to the ideological revolution is the fundamental principle our Party consistently adheres to in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
    Our Party has held fast to ideology as the most powerful weapon of the revolution and advanced the revolution and construction victoriously on the strength of ideology throughout the period of its struggle to accomplish the cause of the Juche revolution. That the red flag of the revolution which was flying in the forests of Paektu has not lost its colour in the least but still flutters as the banner of socialism is because we have invariably given importance to ideology. Discoloration of ideology leads to the fading of the red flag. Keeping in mind that the success of the revolution and the future of the country are dependent on ideological work, we should continue to direct great efforts to the ideological revolution.
    The most important task in the ideological revolution at present is to train all the members of society to be genuine advocates of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who have acquired the revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu, as their habitual quality. By advocates of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism I mean the persons with great spiritual strength who have cherished boundless loyalty to the ideas and cause of their leaders and the spirit of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people and who are ready to fight to the last for the final victory of the Juche revolution with indomitable revolutionary faith and will.
    Party organizations should conduct ideological work in a brisk manner putting the main stress on training Party members and other working people to be genuine advocates of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who have acquired the red revolutionary spirit of Paektu, the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu, as their habitual quality.
    They should conduct five-point education in a substantial way with the main emphasis put on the education in the greatness of the Party and the leaders.
    Education in the greatness, Kim Jong Il's patriotism, revolutionary faith, anti-imperialist, class awareness and socialist morality can be called ideological "chisel" and "hammer" for etching in the hearts of the people the revolutionary outlook on the leader, ardent love for the country, unwavering faith, steadfast class awareness and ennobling outlook on morality.
    Party organizations should conduct the five-point education in various forms and by various methods. In this way they can train all the officials, Party members and other working people into indomitable vanguard fighters who hold the great leaders in high esteem for ever as the sun of Juche and implement their instructions and the Party's policies to the death and into persons with steadfast faith and morality who are ready to burn themselves up like a candle for the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people with unshakeable faith and stout anti-imperialist, class awareness.
    They should channel efforts into conducting the ideological work in a novel and lively way in conformity with the characteristics and actual conditions of their respective units.
    By laying out well the bases for education like rooms for education in the revolutionary exploits and rooms dedicated to the history of their units and conducting effective education through them, they should ensure that officials, Party members and other working people are well-informed of the leadership exploits of the great leaders and the Party associated with their sectors and units and learn from the laudable examples of their revolutionary forerunners who supported the Party and the leaders faithfully. In this way they can encourage them to confide themselves to the Party all the time regarding their units as the courtyard of the office of the Party Central Committee and fully display pure patriotism and loyalty in the struggle to implement the Party's ideas and defend its policies. They should conduct ideological and motivation work in conformity with the occupational features of the employees of their units and their preparedness, and touch the heartstrings of the masses by conducting frontline-style political work in the workplaces–by machines or on farmlands.
    Party organizations should orientate ideological work towards increasing the might of collectivism.
    Socialist ideology is based on collectivism, and how the viability of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is displayed depends on the might of the unity of the collective, all of whose members are firmly armed with the Party's ideology. When they join efforts with a single mind, a radical improvement will be brought about in ideological remoulding and the spiritual strength of the masses can give a powerful impetus to carrying out the technological and cultural revolutions.
    Our Party intends to write a new chapter in the history of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement by developing the collectivist spirit in line with the requirements of the present times, the one which was characteristic of the Chollima era and the campaign for grand socialist construction in which the people put the interests of their comrades and the collective before their own and made collective innovations by educating and reforming those who were lagging behind.
    Party organizations should put stress on giving full play to the ideological and volitional unity of the collective and revolutionary comradeship based on loyalty to the Party and the leaders. By doing so, they can prepare all officials and working people as incarnations of loyalty who, helping and leading one another forward, carry out the revolutionary tasks entrusted to them by the Party within the time set and at the standard demanded by it, and encourage them to create a great epic of mass heroism in our times by dint of collective innovation. They should also launch a vigorous struggle to do away with selfish and non-socialist practices that are evident in some aspects of social life by relying on the united strength of the masses, and establish in a comprehensive way an atmosphere of ideological life and moral discipline that are suited to the original features of socialism.
    All sectors and all units should regard science and technology as their lifeline and make proactive efforts to put their production lines and enterprise management on a modern, IT footing in conformity with the actual conditions of our country–this is an important task to be tackled in carrying out the technological revolution at present.
    We should lay the foundations of the knowledge-based economy driven by modern science and technology and buttressed by frontier industry, and make the national economy Juche-oriented, modern, scientific and IT-based at a high standard.
    Party organizations at industrial establishments should ensure that proper strategies for business operation and enterprise management are worked out on the basis of scientific calculation and modern and IT means are actively introduced in the production lines and enterprise management. What is important in modernizing industrial establishments is not adopting the technology developed by other countries or installing the equipment imported from them; modernization should be realized by relying on our own forces, technology and equipment. They should build up their own forces capable of developing science and technology, raise the proportion of domestic equipment, raw and other materials by promoting creative cooperation with the scientists and researchers at scientific and educational institutions, consolidate the existing foundations of production, and steadily upgrade the equipment and production lines.
    Party organizations in the agricultural sector should accelerate the pace of the technological revolution to thoroughly implement the Party's policy on bringing about a radical improvement in agriculture, raise the fierce flames of scientific farming and animal husbandry and realize the comprehensive mechanization of the rural economy.
    The vitality of the technological revolution should be manifested in the successful implementation of the national economic plan drawn up by the state and the major revolutionary tasks entrusted to each unit by it. By giving full play to the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude and relying on the might of modern science and technology, all units should make incessant leaps forward and innovations in production and construction and carry out the revolutionary tasks entrusted to them by the Party, thereby rendering an active contribution to building a prosperous country and improving the people's standard of living.
    The present reality, in which a new phase of cultural efflorescence in the era of the Workers' Party is being opened up, shows that a civilized socialist nation of our style can be built in a short period when the cultural revolution is spurred on.
    The many architectural structures and other proud creations that have sprung up in our country these days are emblematic of the highest quality of civilization to be envied by the world, and the people's cultural life is improving with each passing day. Holding high the slogan "Let the people enjoy the highest quality of civilization at the highest level!" we should step up the cultural revolution and build a civilized socialist nation by our own efforts so that we can be proud of ourselves before the world.
    Party organizations should make sure that sci-tech diffusion rooms are built in the latest fashion and the advantages of the study-while-you-work system such as factory college are brought into full play. Then they can train officials and working people to be genuine revolutionaries who have mastered their respective sectors and fields and acquired versatile knowledge, and thus carry out the Party's policy on making all the people well versed in science and technology.
    All sectors and all units should strive to transform factories, workplaces, streets and villages into socialist fairyland so that they meet the requirements of the new century, retain their specific features and regional characteristics, and are by no means inferior even in the distant future. They should encourage their employees to press on with the tree-planting campaign to cover mountains in the country with greenery, and endeavour to afforest and landscape their units and native villages and turn them into orchards.
    By thoroughly implementing the Party's policy on making sports and art mass-based, they should make all parts of the country astir with singing, dancing and colourful sports activities, and drum up support for the revolution, however tense the situation may be and whatever trials and difficulties they may face, so that an optimistic fighting spirit and lifestyle pervade the collective.
    They should thoroughly eliminate the alien lifestyle from among Party members and other working people, particularly young people, and establish the socialist and national way of life among them.
    Turning the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement into an undertaking by the masses themselves is the fundamental requirement for vigorously promoting the ideological, technological and cultural revolutions.
    The lifeblood of a mass movement lies in its becoming a movement by the masses themselves.
    Party organizations should bring home to officials, Party members and other working people that energetically waging the movement is precisely an undertaking to implement the instructions of Comrade Kim Jong Il and a worthwhile struggle to create their happiness by their own efforts, so that all of them can take part in the movement as one as befit the masters of the movement.
    They should set realistic objectives for winning the honour of the Three-Revolution Red Flag at different stages by fully reflecting the opinions of the masses, determine the proper order of priority and make scrupulous organizational and political arrangements to carry out the tasks one by one, beginning from what is feasible. By so doing, they can encourage everybody to actively turn out in the movement with confidence. Along with this, they should regard providing the working people with good conditions for working and living as an important undertaking aimed at moving their hearts and forcefully push ahead with it, thereby boosting their morale.
    Information and motivation work geared to raising the fierce flames of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement should be conducted in an aggressive way and a strong wind of collective competition be raised so as to make the social atmosphere run higher.
    Giving appropriate political incentives and material rewards is another important way of encouraging the masses to voluntarily take part in the movement. Party organizations should ensure that the visits by the employees of the units which have been honoured with the Three-Revolution Red Flag to the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to tell the great leaders about their achievements in carrying out the revolutionary tasks are organized in a politically meaningful way, while giving them priority for tours of Pyongyang, revolutionary battle sites and other historic places. At the same time, the hard core, who have been trained and examined in the course of the struggle to carry out the three revolutions, should be given prominence by admitting them to the Party and awarding commendations, thereby inspiring them always to exalt the honour of frontrunners in the movement. Material rewards should also be given to the units that have been honoured with the Three-Revolution Red Flag and the Order of the Three-Revolution Red Flag laureates.
    The units that are associated with the leadership achievements of the Party and the great leaders should play the role of an engine in the effort to win the honour of the Three-Revolution Red Flag.
    It is the traditional leadership mode of our Party to create model units and push ahead with overall work by relying on them. We should put forward the units visited by the leaders as prototypes and, with them as models, bring about leaps forward and innovations in the movement as a whole.
    Party organizations in these units should keep it as their lifeline to implement the instructions the great leaders gave them during their on-site guidance and raise the fierce flames of the three revolutions so that they can be models in all aspects of ideology, technology and culture. Officials and working people in these units should bear deep in mind the honour and pride in working at places that are imprinted with the sacred footsteps of the great leaders, and display high revolutionary enthusiasm and creative activeness in the effort to win the honour of the Three-Revolution Red Flag.
    Party committees and administrative and economic organs at all levels should render active support to the units associated with the leadership exploits of the great leaders so that they can take the lead in carrying out the three revolutions.
    If they pay a little more attention to these units, they will be fully capable of standing in the vanguard of the struggle to carry out the three revolutions because the great leaders clarified the ways and means for them.
    Party committees at all levels, ministries and national agencies, all provinces, cities and counties should properly help the units associated with the undying revolutionary exploits of the great leaders so as to make them all win the honour of the Three-Revolution Red Flag. Party committees should direct particular attention to the production units visited by the leaders, in keeping with the Party's intention of giving top priority to improving the people’s living standards. Scrupulous Party guidance should be given to the units that have been honoured with the Three-Revolution Red Flag to ensure that they become twice and thrice laureates of the honour, thus encouraging them to become propellers for the effort to build a thriving country and improve the people’s standard of living.
    It is important to enhance the role of working people's organizations, administrative and economic organs and three-revolution team members in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
    As the movement is a struggle to carry out the general line of our Party, success in it depends on the active mobilization of all the working people's organizations and administrative and economic organs as well as Party organizations.
    Working people's organizations should conduct vigorous political work geared to enlisting all their members in the movement and thus ensure that they bring about a radical turn in carrying out the three revolutions in their units, becoming one in mind and purpose and effecting collective innovations. The youth league organizations, in particular, should encourage the young people to become point-men and a shock brigade that make breakthroughs in the vanguard of the movement, and, in the course of carrying out the three revolutions, bring them up into political reserve force of the Workers' Party of Korea and reliable masters of the youth power.
    Administrative and economic organs should make, as discussed and decided by their Party committees, detailed arrangements for the three revolutions and carry out one by one in a planned way the tasks which have been decided upon. The three-revolution team members should step up technological upgrading and modernization of the production lines and equipment in their relevant units, so that the vitality of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement can be fully manifested in the ongoing general march throbbing with the spirit of the blizzards of Paektu and the spirit of At a Go.
    Various forms of mass movements by working people's organizations should be carried on effectively in combination with this movement. These mass movements differ from one another in content, form and those involved, but their basic targets are all the same in that they are to implement the great leaders' instructions and the Party's policies by stepping up the three revolutions–ideological, technological and cultural. Therefore, working people's organizations should orientate all forms of mass movements towards carrying on the three revolutions more effectively and push them forward vigorously.
    Party organizations should make another detailed review of the state of the mass movements conducted by these organizations and put to rights wrong tendencies, if any, so as to ensure that these movements contribute, to all intents and purposes, to carrying on the three revolutions.
    By vigorously launching the movement for learning from the persons of merit in the Songun era, we should inject vigour into the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement. This is a mass movement for instilling loyalty to the Party, ardent patriotism and the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude into the minds of Party members and other working people through education by means of the exemplary persons, so as to ensure that they turn out in the campaign to carry out the instructions of the great leaders and champion the policies of the Party. Party organizations should push ahead with this movement dynamically and thus ensure that a larger number of patriots and persons of labour feats who cherish Kim Jong Il's patriotism and give full play to their patriotic zeal and spirit of devoted service on the major theatres of the campaign for building an economic giant and improving the people's living standards are produced and the movement makes an active contribution to developing the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
    To decisively improve the role of Party committees is a sure guarantee for bringing about a revolutionary turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement at present.
    The Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is a mass movement that the Party organizes and guides on its own responsibility, so it is natural that its committees take full charge of it and push ahead with it.
    Party organizations at all levels should turn this movement into a concern of Party committees to the hilt. Party committees should take direct charge of planning and arranging the undertakings related to the movement, and motivate all their departments and subordinate organizations to press on with it. The departments of Party committees at all levels should take the viewpoint and attitude that they share the sense of responsibility for the undertakings related to the movement. In particular, the organizational leadership departments, information and publicity departments, working people's organization departments and other relevant departments should work in close cooperation with one another.
    The information and publicity departments of Party committees at all levels should radically enhance their role.
    They are the main departments of Party committees that are directly responsible for guiding the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
    They should exercise unified control over the movement and push it forward in a planned and militant way so that the whole country seethes with passion for it. They should make a profound analysis of the current state of affairs of the movement before working out concrete plans for developing it at the standard demanded by the Party and taking proper measures to this end. They should intensify guidance over subordinate units to rectify any deviations in time, and work responsibly and according to Party principles when recommending for the honour of the Three-Revolution Red Flag and evaluating those units that claim to have achieved the objectives true to their pledges.
    They should build up the ranks of the officials in direct charge of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement and decisively improve their political and practical qualifications. They should have a good understanding of the policies the Party advances in various periods, acquire a knowledge of modern science and technology on a high level and for rich cultural and emotional life, and take measures to continuously improve their leadership abilities. Party committees at all levels should appoint officials with a strong drive and resoluteness to these posts, and should not change their posts for a certain period of time. They should also reconsider the office system and regulations for more effective Party guidance to the movement, and take relevant measures.
    Senior officials of Party committees at all levels should fully discharge their revolutionary duty in guiding the movement.
    Their attitude towards the movement is their view of and stand towards the instructions of Comrade Kim Jong Il, as well as a serious political issue related to whether they are ready to continue the revolution or not.
    Senior officials of Party committees at all levels are commanders in direct charge of the movement.
    They are duty-bound to stand in the vanguard of the struggle to bring about a fundamental turn in the movement, and should prove their loyalty to the Party with proud achievements in the three revolutions. They should etch in their hearts the Party's intention on bringing about a radical turn in the movement, take hold in person of the work to implement the intention and push ahead with it in a revolutionary way. They should keep up-to-date with the present situation and progress of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement at their own units and address and correct the problems in time on their own initiative. They should render effective help to the officials who provide direct guidance for the movement to improve their level and abilities. They should make it part of their habit to frequently go down to the sites where the movement is being waged to learn about the concrete situation and take relevant measures.
    For the present, they should push ahead with the organizational and political work for raising the fierce flames of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement in the lead-up to the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea. By so doing they can actively contribute to greeting the congress with great achievements in carrying out the three revolutions and to glorifying it as a historic congress that will be etched in the annals of our Party and country.
    The Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is a militant task that the great Comrade Kim Jong Il, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, entrusted to Party organizations out of his trust in them.
    I expect that you will continuously display the honour of being frontrunners in carrying out the three revolutions and become initial sparks and torches in raising the flames of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement across the country, bearing deep in mind the instructions of Comrade Kim Jong Il and the intentions of the Party on vigorously waging the movement.
    True to the Party's intention, Party organizations at all levels, Party members and other working people should defend and glorify the immortal exploits of the great leaders and hasten the final victory of the Juche revolution by bringing about a revolutionary turn in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement. -0

ASSPUK, JISGE and UK KFA slam UN anti DPRK "human rights "resolution

The Association For the Study of Songun Politics UK(ASSPUK), the Juche Idea Study Group of England(JISGE) and the UK Korean Friendship Association(UK KFA) today issued a joint statement in support of the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea:

It is indeed outrageous that another  anti- DPRK resolution has been railroaded through the UN Human Rights Committee ! The resolution is a product of rank hypocrisy and double standards as the prime movers behind it , namely the US, Japan and the EU , are the worst human rights violators on the face of the earth. As the DPRK Foreign Ministry so correctly says "Those countries which sponsored the "resolution" have neither face nor justification to pull up others in the light of their hypocritical nature and their current poor human rights record."
 The US is the biggest human rights violator in the world that has exported fascism and crushed independence and democracy in many countries . The US has the biggest number of prisoners in the world and the US police force have killed countless innocent people . The EU is hated by the people of its member states and is well known for ill treatment of refugees as well as racism.  In the UK a member state of the EU  there are many homeless people and some people have been forced to use Foodbanks. Japan continues to treat national minorities ,such  as Koreans ,within its own border with very badly frequently discriminating against them. Those countries that sponsored the resolution should address their own human rights issues
                    
The UN resolution is an example of the politicisation of human rights , of using the "human rights " issue for partisan ends rather promoting genuine dialogue and understanding about human rights. The US imperialists have turned "human rights " into a political football with which they try to score goals against countries with systems that they do not like. The resolution is another attempt by the US imperialists and their acolytes and lackeys to undermine and destroy the socialist system in People's Korea, a system that provides free housing for the masses and guarantees full employment.

                     Those countries supporting the resolution are either puppets of the US imperialists or have been bribed or blackmailed into supporting it . As is widely known UN votes can be bought and sold with dollars.

We support the DPRK Foreign Ministry's correct stance in rejecting this rubbishy and malicious resolution .We support any counter-measures that the DPRK will take.

KCNA Commentary Urges U.S. to Boldly Roll back Its Outdated DPRK Policy

  Pyongyang, November 21 (KCNA) -- There is increasing criticism in the U.S. of the Obama administration's "policy of strategic patience" toward the DPRK.
    On Nov. 12 the internet homepage of UPI quoted experts as saying that "strategic patience" policy will not help solve the nuclear issue of the Korean peninsula, it is unrealistic to expect the early collapse of north Korea and it is funny for the U.S. to think the security of nuclear arsenal would be guaranteed once north Korea collapses.
    This has something in common with a series of criticism of the present administration's DPRK policy and such comments as "delinquent policy" and "totally failed policy that compelled the north to strengthen the social system and to have access to nuclear weapons" made by American institutes for policy studies in recent years.
    The Obama government's DPRK policy is accelerating the decline of the U.S. as it is a totally failed policy.
    After its emergence the Obama administration adopted the "strategic patience" policy, a copy of the preceding government's hostile policy toward the DPRK, as its foreign policy for isolating and stifling the DPRK and has implemented it.
    Pursuant to its "waiting strategy" the U.S. has pressurized the DPRK to "dismantle its nuclear weapons first" and isolated the country militarily, economically and diplomatically, escalating its moves to stifle it.
    The U.S. denied the sovereign state's legitimate right to develop space and cooked up "resolution on sanctions" by manipulating the UN Security Council and pursued a harsh hostile policy toward the DPRK.
    The U.S. has persisted in its blockade and nuclear blackmail against the DPRK, turning down all the constructive proposals made by the DPRK for ending the instable situation on the peninsula and the sincere requests made by it to discuss a series of issues including the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and the world.
    Under the serious situation where the country's supreme interests were encroached upon, the DPRK had no other choice but to have access to nuclear weapons.
    The responsibility for pushing the DPRK to the access to nuclear weapons and powerful nuclear strike means rests with the U.S.
    Quite contrary to the Obama government's intention to bring down the DPRK by "strategic patience" policy, the DPRK has demonstrated its might as a country capable of manufacturing and launching satellites and producing nuclear weapons.
    The line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of a nuclear force has been codified to further bolster up the nuclear force for self-defence. This has provided an all-powerful treasured sword for building a people's paradise as early as possible.
    The U.S. policy-makers failed to calculate the consequences to be entailed by the above-said policy. This is their miscalculation.
    The longer the U.S. whiles away time with the "waiting strategy", the more sophisticated the nuclear deterrence of the DPRK will become.
    Now at the end of its term after wasting time with the "strategic patience" policy, the Obama administration has become no longer able to remain composed as it has become certain that the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula is nowhere close.
    It will benefit the U.S. for its security to boldly roll back its outdated hostile policy toward the DPRK and respond to Pyongyang's proposal for concluding a peace treaty at an early date.
    It would be wise for the U.S. to judge the situation with cool head and make a policy decision in line with the trend of the times. -0
